1. Confirm your appointment with your make-up artist, hairstylist or skincare consultant. Our team usually sends you a reminder 1-2 days before your appointment.

2. Email pictures of the makeup looks and/or hairstyles you envision for your wedding day. These can easily be found online nowadays on wedding sites. Or, if you do not have access to a computer, have pictures from magazines ready for your makeup/hairstylist.

3. If possible, send a picture of yourself to your consultant. This is especially helpful if you are asking for a specific look, or need advice for certain things (e.g. you want extensions and need to buy before your trial - a picture would help your stylist provide a recommendation before your appointment).

4. We will usually email/call you reminding you of your appointment and suggesting the following tips:

Hair:

  • Your hair should be clean and dry by the time the stylist gets there. If you have curly hair, you can leave your hair wet.
  • Do not style or add any styling products to your hair.
  • Prepare a station for your stylist that has access to an electrical outlet.

Makeup:

  • Wash your face and moisturize before your session. If you do not have a daily skincare regimen, your artist can recommend products that you can sample on the day of your trial.
  • Do not apply any makeup products; be prepared with a clean face.
  • Prepare a table and chair by a window or in a room with lots of natural light.
  • Wear a top similar to the neckline of your wedding dress.

5. On the day of your trial, try to minimize distractions for your hairstylist/makeup artist. If you have guests over, entertaining them will eat into your appointment and your trial will take longer to complete. To avoid accidents, please have children and pets supervised by another adult. This is your quiet time with your stylist. Another reason....see #6.

6. One more thing we can't emphasize enough...on your special day, we are there to help you achieve your vision of beautiful. Everyone has their own style. If you like the natural look, but your best friend in the whole wide world says you need more makeup, stand your ground. If you want the Kim Kardashian look or a colorful eye, and your mother says it's "too much", let her know that this is what you want. You want to feel comfortable in your own skin, you...only better and we want to help you achieve that. The most important question is not what others think, but what you think. We are here to service you.
